What’s the experience like when you use the moisturiser? How does it make you feel?
RHIANNON: How does it make me feel? hmmmm Well it definitely makes me feel more prettier! Like instantly it makes me feel more beautiful hahaha! And, it makes me feel more confident because I feel like I can (which sounds so lame and kind of cliché) but I feel like I can put on skirts and stuff, and it just makes my legs look a lot better. I don't have to worry about going to get burnt, or ‘try’ and get a tan.

Do you feel a little more confident when your legs are a nice colour?
R: Yeah! It’s not even a gross colour, they just look a little bit nicer. I don’t have to worry that it’s going to look bad, I don’t have to worry that it’s going to look orange like a fake tan.

When I mention Bondi Sands, what are the thoughts that run through your mind?
My first thoughts are summer. It makes me think of summer partly because of the word “sands” that’s in the name, but partly also because of the colour blue on the bottle, and the Sydney Harbour Bridge logo on it (which isn’t really summer, but somehow I associate it with the beach) — it makes me think of being outside and being at the beach.

When is the right time to apply the Bondi Sands gradual tanner?
I find that just right after the shower, because it’s a good time to moisturise anyway. After every shower, which for me is usually in the mornings, I put it on so then I’m ready to go. I let it air dry for 2-5 minutes which is nothing, and then I’m ready to start my day!

Do you like the product enough to recommend the brand to somebody else?
R: Yes, I’d definitely recommend the brand to someone else. I mean, I didn’t know anything else that Bondi Sands did besides the gradual milk tanner at the time, so in buying this one, and now having known that they have released other products, I would definitely be keeping an eye out for them.

I don’t use any other products besides this one now!

When you see your Bondi Sands bottle at home, do you get excited about it?
R: Yeah! I just love that it’s sitting in the cupboard!

I know this is a silly question, however, now after using the brand for quite some time now… do you feel like you have a secret connection with it?
R: Yeah! Well put it this way… I have four bottles of it in my cupboard right now!

R: Just incase I run out! Haha!

All bought on sale?
R: Yep. Last time I was at Coles, they had a deal “buy 2 for 1”. So I bought four. I mean I would still buy it if its still on sale or not. I have several stocked. I have one in my toiletry bag for when I’m away, I have one in my cupboard, I have one in my car — I’ve just got them everywhere in places that I think I would possibly need it.

Did the design have any effect on you? Making you like brand even more?
R: The colour blue on the bottle definitely did. I like the fact that it’s a pump bottle with a lid so that it doesn’t spill. All the other ones are usually the squeegee or the drink bottle type so its functionality as a bottle for a tanner isn’t the best at times.
